We are strengthening our Project Team with a Senior Technical PI Expert. The team is responsible for performing PI projects.

Responsibilities:

• Project Work: As part of the project team, you will be involved in various projects aimed at enhancing our customers' digital capabilities. This includes planning, executing, and delivering projects on time and within scope.
• Learning and Development: Continuous learning is a key part of this role. You will have the opportunity to stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our solutions.
• Technical Leadership: As a senior resource, you will provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members. This includes guiding them through complex technical challenges and helping them develop their skills.
• Collaboration: You will collaborate with various departments, including sales, IT, and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Customer Interaction: You will take ownership of customer inquiries and follow up internally and with customers to ensure their issues are resolved promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Higher relevant education
• Deep understanding of Aveva PI System components: PI Server, PI Data Archive,            Asset Framework (AF), PI Vision, and PI DataLink.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing PI interfaces/connectors for data            acquisition.
• Experience in system architecture design and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of SQL for data querying and reporting.
• Knowledge in PI WebAPI for interfaces to various 3rd party systems.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret process data for insights and decision-making.
• Knowledge of security best practices, including access control and data security.

Skills:

• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration        skills to work effectively with various departments and stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Nice to have:

• Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or VBScript for automation.
• Understanding of Windows Server environments, virtualization, and networking concepts.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) for PI System deployment or hybrid setups.
